Doug Bartolf has been in the financial services and wealth preservation business for over 25 years.
As a member of one of the first classes to receive the CTFA designation from the American Bankers Association in 1991, (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) he has held that designation for 18 years. He also holds an insurance license.
Prior to establishing Bartolf Wealth Advisors in 2004, Doug worked at JP Morgan, formerly Bank One Private Client Services for 8 years and Chemical Bank, both in New York and Florida for 10 years. He has spoken frequently on investment related topics and co-hosted a financial call-in radio show.
He taught as an adjunct finance professor at Northwood University in West Palm Beach. He helped establish the Endowment fund at First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach and is now doing the same at New Hope Presbyterian Church in Castle Rock, CO. He has served as a Deacon and is an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. He serves on the Board of Directors of the William T. Dwyer Academy of Finance in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and has since 1996.
Currently, Doug is Chairman of the School Advisory Council at Soaring Hawk Elementary School in Castle Rock, Colorado. Each year, he speaks to over 250 high school students in Florida and Colorado on financial matters.
An outdoor enthusiast, Doug can be found riding his road bike around the roads in Douglas County, Colorado and Palm Beach County, Florida. He also spends time hiking, skiing and participating in various running races.
In addition, he coaches his son's roller hockey, baseball and soccer teams.
Bartolf Wealth Advisors is a member of the Castle Rock, Colorado Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, BWA supported Toys for Tots, the local elementary school and various
religious and medical causes.
